The cork doesn’t need the lines; the holes are enough. You could also add a blank white splash/crest flowing over part of the bottom of the frame. I might leave the clouds white or change the pattern there, too, maybe use those circles of angles/fans you used in a previous hand drawing. Or, try a meander pattern.
